My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location: Shakopee, MN

Yara is an adorable low rider with just the right amount of playfulness and affection. She's got the build and look of a Lancashire Heeler but is more like is a mix of Corgi and some larger breed. At 5 month, she's just over 20 pounds.
Yara is an intelligent girl, so training hasn't been much of a challenge. She's house and kennel trained. She knows sit and her recall is fantastic! We just started working on spot training and lay down, her progress has been impressive.
Yara loves toys of all kinds and she's great with people of all sizes. She's best with dogs her size but also gets along with some bigger dogs. Yara is a bit timid and unsure of larger dogs and will lick their faces (some dogs don't appreciate this type of affection). Yara is also good with cats.

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
