My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kakuna is a little on the quieter side, she spends her time observing the world around her with a calm and steady gaze. But once you get to know her, you'll discover layers of personality, just waiting to evolve into something extraordinary.

When can Kakuna be yours?
Because kittens cannot be separated from their litter until they're eight weeks old, Kakuna can be pre-adopted at this time and go home to their family on May 21, 2024.

How much does it cost to adopt?
Kakuna's base adoption price is $85, with an additional refundable $50 deposit that gets you a voucher for a complimentary spay/neuter from one of our three area veterinary clinic partners: Alpena Veterinary Clinic, Switzer Veterinary Clinic, or Sunrise Veterinary Clinic. Once proof is provided that the altering surgery has occurred, you will be issued a $50 refund check.

What else comes with adopting a pet from HHS?
All animals adopted from the Huron Humane Society receive a complimentary vet visit from your choice of one of our three Alpena veterinary clinic partners, as well as the peace of mind of knowing your new furry family member is up-to-date on all standard age-appropriate vaccinations and preventative treatments.
