My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Sandy. I’m part of the “baseball” litter that includes me and my four sisters. I was named after some great southpaw pitcher, that means he’s a lefty. Although I can’t tell if I’m a lefty or not, I like all my paws just the same so far as I can tell. Someone thought it would be nice to leave my sisters and me in a ditch in the middle of nowhere- rude! But luckily a nice lady picked us up and now I’m warm and cozy with one of my sisters in our foster home. I’m the biggest one out of all my sisters and have a fluffy coat with a long tail that curves upward, but none of my sisters look like I do. My foster mom says I’m the “milkman’s kid,” whatever that means. I have lots of foster brothers and sisters, both dogs and cats, and I love them all! I’m always so excited to see them. I can’t say they always feel the same, but I think I’m growing on them. I mean, I’m so cute and sweet, why wouldn’t they love me? I get to play outside in the backyard a lot, and I’m always with my sister. We just have the best time playing together and exploring. We also hang out inside with our human foster sister a lot- she gives the best cuddles! I’m pretty calm and relaxed for a puppy, I’m happy to just lay around and do whatever you want to do- even if it’s being lazy. At night I sleep with my sister in a big kennel. I think my foster mom has figured out that I don’t go potty in the kennel, so that’s why we get to sleep in there at night. But it’s roomy and cozy, so I don’t mind. I’m happy girl who loves everyone and everything I meet, and I hope my forever home is a happy one too. I’m just a puppy now, but I’m going to grow into being a big teddy bear. Does your home have room for a big teddy bear?

My adoption fee is $350 locally in Houston, TX or I can be transported as early as 6/6/24 for $550 (includes health certificate and travel fee). It also includes all my age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter and microchip. Fill out an app at: https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=SQYPSGVQ
