Neto is described as a big-hearted sweetheart! This unusually large lapdog is the ideal new family member for anyone who wants endless amounts of cuddles (we know that's you, don't lie!)

He's a very playful boy who would be happy with a fur sibling - cat or dog! As always, we recommend proper introductions so all new friendships are successful! If you don't have another pet, Neto would be just fine with that - he also enjoys his independent time. Neto has not yet been introduced to children, but we think with proper introductions he would be a great addition to a family with human children. Neto will thrive in a home that is willing to provide all basic training to get him set up for success in his new life.

We do a very thorough screening interview, where we go through all of our policies, regulations and asking very detailed questions.
We perform a home and reference check.
Reference checks are your vet and two personal,
once all of those are completed,
we approve you.
you will out a liability waiver, and then set up a meet and greet
if the dog is the right fit, you sign the adoption agreement, pay the fee and on you go home with your new fido friend!

Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue is a volunteer-based, non-profit, animal welfare organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of stray, neglected, and abused animals. Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue is completely funded by the support of the community through fundraising efforts and public donations. All of our pets are cared for by foster homes and receive complete medical care, which includes worming, vaccinations, and spaying/neutering prior to their adoption.
