My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jack Skellington, the charismatic feline who's part Garfield, part Pumpkin King. At just one year old, Jack already boasts a hefty 14 pounds of undeniable charm. With his striking orange and white fur, he's impossible to miss as he struts around, owning every room he enters.

This dapper gent has already been neutered, so he's focused on the finer things in life, like lounging in sunbeams and charming his human companions with his affectionate purrs. While he may share a name with a spooky character, Jack is anything but frightening – unless you count his hefty size!

Jack Skellington is a connoisseur of comfort, and nothing makes him happier than a good combing session to keep his luxurious coat in top condition. With his laid-back demeanor and penchant for snuggles, he's the perfect companion for lazy afternoons spent curled up on the couch.

If you're looking for a feline friend who's equal parts Garfield and Halloween spirit, look no further than Jack Skellington. With his winning personality and irresistible charm, he's sure to steal your heart – and maybe a lasagna or two.

More about this rescue

Friends of Rescue Animals (FRAs) is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer non-profit organization.  FRAs was founded in 2004 and started off with 4 volunteers that wanted to support the Rowlett Animal Shelter.

Our organization has grown to 400 volunteers supporting both the Rowlett Animal Shelter and the Garland Animal Shelter. With this growth now we are able to host multiple off-site adoption events, sponsor heartworm treatments program, operate our own cat rescue program, and so much more!
