Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Charley, a beautiful 4 month old spayed female purebred St Bernard puppy! Charley currently weighs about 40 lbs and is growing fast, she will be a large dog. She is a sweet, silly girl who does not know her size.

Charley is a typical happy, playful puppy who is very friendly and loves everyone! She is good with other dogs, people, and kids. She has not been cat tested, but puppies typically do fine with cats if introduced at a young age.

Charley is housebroken and working on crate training. She walks pretty well on leash and is a quick learner. A 100% good girl!

St Bernard or other large breed experience preferred.

**Charley will be available for adoption at our Petco adoption event in Dayville, CT on 5/19! We are accepting applications on her now and will choose the best applicant who most closely matches the needs of the dog.**

Submit Application

Apply for the dog you are interested in. Or fill out a general application describing what you are looking for in a dog

2.
Home Check

After processing you application, you will be contacted to schedule a virtual home visit.

3.
Approve Application

After your application is processed and your home visit is done, we will let you know if you are approved to adopt!

4.
Meet the Pet

Once you are approved a meeting will be set up for you to meet with the dog you are interested in.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

The last step is finalizing the adoption! Sign their contract, pay the adoption fee, and take your furry friend home!

We match our dogs to the best applicant for each dog! We process applications, preform a home visit, either in person or a video call. We have a discussion with you about what you're looking for in a dog, and we work with our applicants to find the dog that will best fit their home and lifestyle. We want to ensure both our rescue dogs, and adopters are set up for success and are happy!

Paws Rescue League Inc. Rescues the dogs that need saving. We believe ALL dogs deserve love, happiness, and a family. We don't just take in the puppies, or the young fully vetted dogs who are quick to adopt. We take dogs of all ages, all sizes, all breeds and we do our best to find the best family that matches their needs. We work with our adopters to make sure they are supported, and the process is as stress free as possible. We are a 501(c)(3) non profit rescue, that is run by volunteers.
