My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Aldur, the charming white shepherd mix with a heart of gold! This playful pup is the life of the party when it comes to hanging out with other dogs. He's got a wagging tail and a friendly woof for every furry friend he meets. And guess what? He's a certified cat whisperer too! Aldur has been nothing but respectful and friendly around his feline companions so far.

When it comes to outdoor adventures, Aldur is always up for a stroll. He adores his daily walks, sniffing out every interesting scent along the way. But it's not just about the great outdoors for Aldur; he's also a sucker for some quality cuddle time. Give him some gentle pets, and you'll have a loyal friend for life.

But what really sets Aldur apart is his sweetness. It's like he's got an endless supply of love to give to everyone he meets. With his gentle nature and affectionate demeanor, Aldur is ready to steal the hearts of his forever family. So, if you're looking for a furry companion who's equal parts playful and sweet, look no further than Aldur!

More about this rescue

PIPs key focus is dogs with special or medical needs (who we call Pip-abled), however, we have many non-PIP-abled dogs too! We made it easy to decipher PIP-abled verses non-PIP-able; simply look at each dogs picture and bio.

The Pioneers had a vision to take in the most urgent rescues no one else could which includes puppies, adult dogs, senior dogs, dogs with special needs and medical cases in and around North Carolina. Our main purpose is to rescue as many dogs in need as we can with a special focus on special needs.
