My name is Zoe!

Zoe was gifted to my grandmother because her former owner said she needed a quiet home. We were told she was around 6 and hid a lot/fought with other cats in the house she came from. Fast forward 2 years and my grandmother needs to move for health reasons but can’t take Zoe with her. I also can’t take her because my house has a lot going on and I don’t want to stress her out.

Over the 2 years, we have been able to coax Zoe out of hiding 24/7 and she will now allow myself and grandmother to pet her on her terms. She hides from any males introduced to her and is still skittish even when we pet her. She will need someone with the patience to work with her on socializing or someone who doesn’t mind rarely seeing her.

Zoe is super sweet when you get to know her and even snuggles if you stay still long enough. She is vocal when she’s hungry but otherwise keeps to herself. We would really like to see her find a loving forever home!
