My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The Cloudy Day pups were dumped on a busy road and left to die. Thankfully we could save them. These are great pups. Black Mouth Cur pups are commonly social and make great family dogs. They have a sensitive nature and respond well to positive reinforcement and love. The average size is 40-60 lb for a male. Because we do not know if they are mixed with someone else, we think they will be 50 lbs or so. They are very sweet and very trainable. Mix breed dogs are usually healthier and have fewer behavior problems know to the breed than their pure bred counterparts.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We have a simple contract ensuring that our rescue will be well taken care of, medically and physically, will never be tied or chained, and that a secure fenced area is provided for outdoor play. We want for each a loving home and to become part of a family. Every animal is up to date on shots and spay/neuter is required.

Go meet their pets

We are open 7 days a week by appointment. Weekends are preferred. Come see our waggin' tails and happy faces on 22 acres with large runs and a 5 acre play area. Email to ask for directions and to make an appt.

More about this shelter

We started rescuing dogs in 2001 and became a non profit animal rescue in 2006 out of the sheer need to save animals from the streets, and pick up the ones dropped at our doorstep. We promote spay/neuter, and last year found forever homes for 129 animals from our location, and adopted over 400 through off site adoption..
