My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Tiramisu was found as a stray in Montreal-North before arriving at the Animal Rescue Network in February 2024. He had a beautiful coat that was unfortunately completely knotted, so we had to shave him completely, which gives him a special look for now! Tiramisu is a cat with a lot of character! He's VERY active and jumps up and down to play. He doesn't really understand how to interact with other cats, which sometimes leads to serious fights. He also has a tendency to steal food from his fellow cats. For this reason, we'd like to place him alone with a family who can give him all the attention he needs. Tiramisu is an extremely affectionate cat, on the verge of emotional dependence. So he'll need a human who works from home, or several humans who can take turns playing with him and telling him how wonderful he is. He could also live with children. Tiramisu lets himself be hugged and gives us lots of kisses. He's looking for adventure, so he'd be a good candidate for harness and leash training. Otherwise, a catio or fenced balcony would suit his needs. He also coos and meows to say hello, which is adorable. Who would like to open their home and their heart to Tiramisu? Tiramisu is an adult cat therefore the adoption fees for him are $290. He is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia (FeLV). You will also be provided with health insurances for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the support of the adoption team for as long as you need it. You will also have access to a free 30 minutes video consultation within thr first month following adoption with our cat behaviour consultant FelineGood ( https://www.felinegood.ca ).

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All new adoption homes are carefully screened to determine if they are suitable. There is an adoption fee that includes the sterilization, initial vaccination of every animal, testing for FIV and FeLV of all cats at the shelter, and a 21 days trial period. A contract is always signed between the ARN and the adopter for their protection. A follow-up by an ARN adoption coordinator is often done either by telephone or by visit, and we also offer help/cousel for the life of the cat.

Go meet their pets
