My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Cappuccino came to the Animal Rescue Network in December 2023 after being found as a stray in Laval. He was born on the street and his mother took good care of him and his 3 brothers until they were weaned. The cats were then cared for by a kind local person. They were very shy, but got used to their guardian angel over time. Unfortunately, Cappuccino was afraid of some stray cats who were taking up a lot of space in the neighborhood. He quickly showed his guardian that he had a lot of potential for adoption, which is why he came to our shelter. He found his arrival a little difficult and was very stressed, but now he's ready to find his adoptive family. He requires a lot of gentleness, but when approached gently he willingly lets himself be stroked! He also loves to play with us, which has helped his socialization. He often lies close to other cats, so he'd fit in well in a house with other calm/timid cats. Otherwise, he would make a good single cat for a family willing to give him the time and attention he needs. Given his softer personality, Cappuccino would do best in a family without children. He's also greedy, and that's how you'll be able to seduce him! Cappuccino is an adult cat therefore the adoption fees for him are $290. He is sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and feline leukemia (FeLV). You will also be provided with health insurances for the first 6 weeks following adoption. You will also have access to the support of the adoption team for as long as you need it. You will also have access to a free 30 minutes video consultation within thr first month following adoption with our cat behaviour consultant FelineGood ( https://www.felinegood.ca ).

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All new adoption homes are carefully screened to determine if they are suitable. There is an adoption fee that includes the sterilization, initial vaccination of every animal, testing for FIV and FeLV of all cats at the shelter, and a 21 days trial period. A contract is always signed between the ARN and the adopter for their protection. A follow-up by an ARN adoption coordinator is often done either by telephone or by visit, and we also offer help/cousel for the life of the cat.
