Their adoption process

Our adoptions start with an application and approval process. Most of our adult dogs have an adoption fee of $250, regardless of how much medical attention they have received (some of them cost us substantially more than that, all of our rescues are thoroughly vetted and treated for any illness before being adopted out). You must be 21 adopt from us. We prefer a fenced in yard but it's not required. All people in the household must be present for adoption and we request that you at least spend 45 minutes with the pet of your choice before making the commitment to take them home EVERY adoption includes spay or neuter. Check around; not everyone includes the price of surgery, even if it's required. Our donation for dogs also includes: first shots, heartworm test if over 6 months, and rabies shot (at time of surgery if too young). Most are also microchipped. Cats come with surgery cost included, first shots, FIV test, and nail trim. We do NOT allow our cats to be declawed!

More about this rescue

We are a foster style rescue. Our pets live with us, so we know more about them than the average shelter. We have a variety of homes that include other dogs, cats, kids, etc. Spaying and neutering is the absolute best way to curb pet overpopulation. We believe in low cost spay and neuter and can provide info on low cost surgeries. We also believe pet nutrition and vaccine awareness can keep your best friend healthy for life. Our fosters are fed high quality food. We encourage people to explore the nutritional value of pet food and make the best decision for their pets.
