My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Have you met this sweet 11 month old cat?🐱 Yolando (animal ID: 26855) is the gentlest soul 💕 you will ever meet. He can be very timid when you first meet but with time his playful nature comes out. Like many shelter animals transitioning to their furever home he will need time and patience.❤️ We recommend a quiet home for Yolando because does become overwhelmed with too much noise. Though he loves playing with other cats and would prefer a young cat with high energy to keep up with him. We have not yet dog tested him and do suggest a meet and greet with any other pets in the residence.

The adoption centers are open Wednesday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You may also schedule a private meet-and-greet on Mondays and Tuesdays with a completed adoption application. To view other cats or kittens available for adoption at Valley Animal Center, please visit https://valleyanimal.org/cats/. You may also find Valley Animal Center's adoption application there. Once you submit an adoption application, a cat care associate will review it and follow up with you as soon as possible.

My adoption fee is only $100 and includes spay/neuter, up to date on vaccines, de-worm, flea treatment, and microchip ID. If you choose to adopt me, please ask an associate about joining Valley Animal Center's Cat Club!

Gracias!

More about this shelter

Valley Animal Center houses thousands of dogs and cats annually until they are placed in loving homes. Majority of our shelter animals are rescued from local animal control agencies who have no more space for their animals. Even animals who have been abused, mistreated, abandoned, and injured are cared for and nurtured until a loving home is ready to adopt them.

We are easily accessible to the residents of the entire six-county region it serves. Even individuals from out of the area and out of state have come to Valley Animal Center to adopt animals from us and utilize our clinic services.

Our mission is to unite dogs and cat with loving people but it does not simply end at the adoption process. With our low-cost clinic, a membership-based dog park, and humane education resources found on our website, we want to ensure our community has easy access to resources that will help them along in their pet ownership journey.
