My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, my name is Winny (which means friend of peace) and I am a very special cat with a lot of love to give. I take the meaning of my name very seriously. I LOVE people! I immediately fall in love with every person I meet and will immediately snuggle with them. I am a bit of a couch potato, but that's ok because then I can, and do, snuggle with anyone that sits on the couch. I don't care if I have met them before or not. I'm a gentle cat that loves everyone. I have a beautiful longhaired brown & white tabby colored coat. I am about 8 months old as of April.
Because of my congenital spinal and thoracic issues, I need tender handling to protect my back and my liver so I would do best in a home where I am the only four-legged friend and only older kids to insure everyone is gentle. I also have a deformed left foreleg, but that doesn't slow me down in the least.

I am looking for a quiet and calm forever home where I can feel safe, loved and cherished. If you think that you can give me the home I am looking for, please apply today!

Winny is fixed, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, FIV/FELV negative, and microchipped. She is currently being cared for by our rescue, but would like you to make her a part of your family today! The adoption fee of $125 will benefit other CPR rescue animals.

More about this rescue

CPR is a foster/volunteer based rescue, with a 501c(3) non-profit status, dedicated to rescuing stray and abandoned animals. We do not have a central "shelter" as all of our animals are placed in foster homes until forever homes can be found. Our goal is to rescue as many animals as we can safely manage thru foster homes. We rescue dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, birds and other small animals.
