Meet sweet little Sinora! This adventurous young lady had an interesting start in life and continues to surprise us. Here is the story so far...
While she was being surrendered to us by a local good samaritan that found her and her two kittens, Sinora escaped from her carrier and ran off into the woods! As one can imagine we were very concerned but as is common with rescue organizations, several of our volunteers, local trappers, and cat experts pulled together to find this young lady. Traps were set up in the parking lot and surrounding areas and checked frequently - wouldn't you know it, she was found the same night! She must have known MHS is a safe place to be (or she just really liked the tuna we left out, your pick).
Sinora is a sweetheart. She was a little shy at first but she's come around quickly. She LOVES to eat - as in you'll give her wet food and in the two seconds you turn around to rinse off the spoon she'll look at you and her empty bowl and say, "uh, excuse me you definitely forgot to feed me." She enjoys pets and doesn't mind being picked up for short periods, this will probably improve even more over time with love and attention.
Sinora is still practically a kitten herself so she'll have plenty of energy but would also love to snuggle with you. She is a young adult who is: spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and she is FIV/FELV NEGATIVE. If you want to adopt Sinora please apply at https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=meridenhumanesociety&method=online_form_html&formid=28
