My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Good Morning! I'm Octavia! I am a beautiful girl that is in need of a good home. I was picked up by the nice guys of Animal Control as I roamed in an area near a trailer park and local businesses! I was glad someone called Animal Control to rescue me. I have been happily waiting at the shelter and getting ready to meet new families. I am a young hound mix. I have all of my vaccinations for my age, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. When I came in my skin was a mess! Fortunately the kind shelter employees knew just what to do! I received oral medications and medicated baths and I look soooo much better! I hope you will make an appointment to meet me soon.

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
