My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

There seriously is no way to describe in worlds how entertaining this little guy is along with his brother Poppy! They zip around the yard like little hummingbirds, fear nothing and LOVE other dogs! They would benefit from a space where they can run and play ( fenced in yard area). Louie is super affectionate ! Loves being the center of attention. He is absolutely wonderful with every human and every animal he meets! How he packs such a HUGE personality into such a tiny body is inexplainable . Poppy is in a foster home in Memphis, Tn. Once adopted , he will travel via Rescue Vet Transport to a stop closest to you. Transport leaves Memphis Tennessee every Friday morning at 6 AM and makes stops along the way to delivering newly adopted pets. Transport is an additional $185. If you would like to make this, handsome, adorable, lovely little fellow part of your family. Please get your application in asap!!!

Additional adoption info

The adoption process starts with the adoption application. Once the approval process is complete, you will be notified via phone or email of your approval. Our rescue is based in Tennessee. Some of our adoptable pets will require transport to other locations so please inquire before applying for adoption. WE HAVE LOCAL PETS IN WINDSOR but not all of our pets are locally fostered

More about this rescue

We are a rescue based out of Memphis, Tennessee with fosters and chapters in various parts of the United States. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home as many homeless pets in the mid-south as we possibly can to save them from euthanasia. Their only fault...there are just too many. The euthanasia rate in this city is a staggering 79%. We watch perfectly healthy, well-adjusted pets be euthanized daily because there simply are not enough homes for them all. The solution...stronger spay/neuter laws and education but until then, these pets deserve a future too!
