My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Papicino, a courageous and resilient 4.5-year-old pup who needs your help and love now more than ever. Just a few weeks ago, "Papi" was diagnosed with IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease), a condition that has left him unable to walk or even take care of his basic needs.

But here's where his story takes a turn towards hope and inspiration: When his devoted owner learned about his diagnosis on April 8, 2024, she didn't hesitate for a moment. She knew that Papi deserved every chance at a happy, healthy life. Despite facing financial challenges, she drove him to Mexico for the life-saving surgery he desperately needed, a surgery she couldn't afford in the USA.

Now, Papi is on the road to recovery, but he still needs your help. The surgery was just the first step, and the journey ahead involves intensive physical therapy and ongoing care. Unfortunately, these treatments come with significant costs that his owner is struggling to manage on her own.

Can you be the hero in Papi's life?
