My name is Sukie. I used to be a mama dog for a breeder. I was released when I was too old to have more babies. When I was spayed, I also had 21 teeth removed! Don’t worry, I can still eat dry kibble. I am a happy girl who loves being close to people, lying down in the sunshine, and being outside on a pretty day. I am still being potty-trained, but I am doing better every day. I don’t mind living with cats. I have a foster sister that I like to snuggle with and a neighbor dog that I am always happy to see. Please come meet me.

I have been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible.

Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient. You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from 11am to 2:00 p.m. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
