My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, look at me, I said hello, are you paying attention? I’m Anthony! I am soooo excited to meet you! I was found as a stray so my foster mom isn’t sure how old I am. The vet estimates that I’m a 5 year old lab mix, but I feel much younger! I love to play fetch, go on walks and get belly rubs. I’m the happiest boy my foster family has ever met. I really love everything and everyone!

My foster mom says I don’t understand personal space so well, but sometimes she doesn’t pay attention to me, so of course I try to lick her face to remind her that I’m there and would like to be pet. I am crate trained, house broken and get along with everyone! My foster family usually puts me in the crate when they aren’t home but sometimes if they are only going to be gone for under an hour, they leave me out and I’ve never caused any trouble!

I know sit and paw commands, but I do get excited and jump. If you tell me sit, I will until you pet me, even if I’m excited, but once you stop petting me, I like to jump back up to remind you that I wasn’t done being pet! It’s not my fault though, if my foster family would just keep petting me, my jumping and not giving personal space wouldn’t be an issue! Plus, the little girl in the house loves when I jump up on her - we hold paws and dance to Taylor Swift together! It makes her happy which gets me extra pets after so - WINNING!

If you like to pet dogs, especially if you like to give belly rubs, message my foster mom and come meet me please! I promise to give you lots of love and be a very good boy in return!

We place the dogs in the best home not the first home. Please be patient while we go over all apps and we will be in touch.

We are foster based. You must apply on Crossyourpaws.com first. If your application is chosen as the best fit for the dog we will move forward with the approval process. Once approved you will be setup with a time to meet the dog. Our dogs are all over the greater Pittsburgh area.
