My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Latonia! How cute are her toes?! This adorable little girl is a 4-5 month old mystery mix nicknamed Ginny by her human foster siblings. She has a beautiful, coppery sable coat and the cutest freckled toes. She currently weighs around 27 lbs. She is a sweet, sweet pup! She is good with other dogs and loves people of all ages, though would do best with children old enough to understand typical puppy behavior. She loooves to give kisses, in between zoomies and naps, of course! She sleeps quietly in her crate and is learning to go potty outside. She is a smart cookie and is quickly learning "sit" and "down". She'll be ready go home on 5/18.

We place the dogs in the best home not the first home. Please be patient while we go over all apps and we will be in touch.

We are foster based. You must apply on Crossyourpaws.com first. If your application is chosen as the best fit for the dog we will move forward with the approval process. Once approved you will be setup with a time to meet the dog. Our dogs are all over the greater Pittsburgh area.

Here at Cross Your Paws Rescue, we are driven by a single goal; to save lives. We are doing our part in making the world a better place for all pets. Our decision to start a rescue is not one that we have taken lightly, it has come after years of volunteer work with other groups. Our goal is to make this world a place where starving, abused animals is a thing of the past. That shelters filled with dogs and cats waiting to be euthanized is unheard of. We want euthanasia to be something to help pets on their way to the Rainbow bridge not to end lives because of overpopulation. We vow to save every life that we can.
