My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy is 3-month-old,13 pound, spayed, current on vaccines and micro chipped female Shepherd/Heeler Mix. The Heeler in Daisy makes her an intensely devoted dog to her owner and dislikes being separated from them, which is why they are know as 'Shadow Dogs'. Daisy will need an active family. She will happily become there next running or hiking buddy. Because of their hardworking heritage, the breed craves physical and mental stimulation each day. Daisy is getting along wonderfully with the other 2 Shepherd mixes in her foster home. Daisy sleeps in her crate at night without any accidents. Day time potty training in going well with regular potty time. Daisy walks well on a leash and will need at least 30 minutes of run around time or walk.

Adoption fee is $325.00 includes 3 sets of puppy vaccines, rabies. spay, de wormer, flea and tick prevention, microchip and first month of heart worm prevention. Fill out an app online and the foster mom will be in touch within 48 hours. Adopt don't Shop SAVE A LIFE

Again the Pros and Cons on adopting this sweet girl..

PROS Hard Working Intelligent and Curious Loyal and eager to please

Cons Does not like being left behind requires intense mental and physical stimulation

We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application.

Additional adoption info

Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be up to date current on Heartworm prevention and S/N. If a home visit is needed, we will complete that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fees are listed here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-fees/. There is a 5-day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family. A full refund will be issued if the pet is returned within the 5-day trial period.
