From a Galaxy not too far from away, meet our 2 year old retired mama Galaxy. This 43 pound Pittie Mix is looking for a calm home to call her own, after her world was turned upside down. Rescued from an alleged dog fighting ring, Galaxy arrived nervous and afraid. During her medical workup, it was determined she was pregnant! Most likely used for breeding, Galaxy Girl was quickly placed into a loving foster home where she could rest and take care of her babies in peace. With time, this sweet-shy girl glows with bouncy bubbly energy. She’s ready to make a big bang into your life if you’re ready to join her. A home that allows her to be the only spoiled pet would help her reach for the stars! Her future is ready to shine bright with you!

You'll meet with a counselor to determine a good match for you.

Meet the Pet

You'll meet pets you're interested in provided it's an appropriate match.

Sign Adoption Contract

We'll go over any behavior or medical notes so that you have a clear understanding of your pet's needs. You'll sign the notes and contract.

5.
Pay Fee

Take the Pet Home

You're all set! We're here for you if you have any questions post-adoption!

Additional adoption info

We only do adoptions in person (please bring all family members).

We will ask you to fill out our Adoption Survey at the shelter and talk to an Adoption Counselor, who will help you find your perfect match.
