My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Helllllllllo there! My name is Buzz! It's a great name for me because I'm very lively, energetic, and always in motion!
I am a very fun, active fella, with a zest for life!!

I love to play with toys, that is my choice for motivation, even over treats. Pull out a good toy, especially ones I can whip around and toss in the air, and I will have a blast amusing myself (and probably amuse you as well).

I'm your typical Husky meaning I definitely like attention from the humans (and you'll know because I'll jump on ya when I'm excited), but I also like to do my own thing and be in my own little world.

I am a very happy go lucky fella, with a go go go personality. I'm eager on leash because I want to run and have fun, so I will need some work not pulling too much when we go out.

I would love an adopter familiar with us Huskies, as we have lots of interesting traits! Or someone patient, active, and willing to meet my high energy, mischievous needs!

I am so excited to find my new home!

More about this shelter

The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City. This is only a portion of the work done by our organization. In 2016 almost 12,000 animal came through the doors of our shelter and spay/neuter clinic. We can’t help them without your support.
