Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Clyde, the quieter half of our infamous duo, Bonnie and Clyde. A bonded pair with a tale as legendary as their names. When they first arrived at Abandoned Pet Rescue, both were timid and unsure, but Clyde decided to take matters into his own paws. In a bold move worthy of his name, Clyde escaped from his cage and went into hiding, evading the "authorities" (our shelter staff) for several days. Meanwhile, Bonnie stayed behind, loyally waiting for her partner. Eventually, Clyde was “captured” and, instead of facing consequences, was rewarded with gentle love, treats, and the promise of safety. Since then, Clyde has come a long way, though he’s still the more cautious of the pair. He finds comfort in Bonnie’s presence and is happiest when they're together. The two now live in our free roaming cat room, where they feel much more relaxed and at ease. Clyde is still shy and will need a patient, understanding adopter who’s willing to let him come out of his shell at his own pace. With time, consistency, and love, we believe he’ll continue to blossom just like Bonnie has. If you are interested in meeting this loving pair please fill out an adoption application at abandonedpetrescue.org!

More about this shelter
Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.
APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
