My name is Tansy and I'm a happy little snuggle bug! I was surrendered to Paddy's Paws, along with 24 other cocker spaniels, so that I could find a forever home through rescue.

Tansy is estimated to be around 1 year old and weighs about 16 pounds. She loves to fetch a tennis ball, roll around in a sunny patch of grass, and play tug with her foster sister. She keeps herself occupied switching between her favorite toys, but she’ll always take a break for some attention and has recently discovered that belly rubs are the best. Her newest favorite thing to do is to pick up the leash handle and proudly prance around walking herself.

She is kennel trained and is doing excellent with housetraining. Even after just a short time in her foster home, she’s been a quick learner and very brave around all the new experiences.

Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
