Meet the Pet
This helps New Leash on Life Dog Rescue with pet care costs.
Introducing the 7 plant pups! (YAY Spring! ). First up we have Little Miss Clover. She is 1 of the 6 girls (Poppy, Celosia, Aspen, Azalea, and PJ) in this litter (Ash is the only boy). They came from a crowded shelter in Texas where they were at risk. We believe they may be some sort of lab mix but really your guess is as good as ours! These pups are approaching 4 months old and all weigh roughly 25-35 lbs.
With the pups being 4 months old we are wanting to get them into their own homes so they can each learn how to live without their siblings. We’d of course prefer adoptive homes but separate foster home would be great as well!
Here’s a bit more on Miss Clover
-smallest of the group at just under 25lbs and has the most adorable short little legs
-LOVES to play outside and with lots of fun toys
-sleeps in a crate at night (is currently with siblings so it may be a transition sleeping alone)
-loves other dogs including the large high energy male dog in her current foster home
-somewhat timid with small children so Clover needs a family who understands this and will work with her to ensure the kids are respectful. A family without young children would be great as well. (Her current foster has a 2 year old who wants to give a bit too much love for her comfort but she is definitely curious!)
-a bouncy loving girl to her (bigger) humans
-treat motivated
-because the pups have not been separated, they have not been fully potty trained (it’s quite hard to potty train 7 pups!). The two pups that were recently separated are doing great though so, with a consistent routine, we expect Clover to catch on quickly.
Clover’s (and each of her sibling’s) adoption fee is $250 which includes her spay, microchip and up to date vaccinations.
If you’re interested in adoption, or fostering, please private message us or apply now at newleashdogrescue.com
