My name is Freddie!

Met Fred as a kitten at the home of neighbors. I was instantly attracted by his big foofy tail. He fitted in easily with my other three cats. He is slightly odd in his vocalizations; he is not at all bad-tempered, but where other cats would meow, he may hiss or growl -- I compare him to a little kid who has grown up in a household where everyone uses the f-word all the time. Actually, I think he's quite shy, and he avoids strangers to the house for several days. He purrs and loves lapsits, when he will pump vigorously, sometimes accompanied by drooling.
Until now he has been able to go outdoors, as I live in an area along a creek bank and trees, where it's quite safe. However, at times he has had to be an indoor cat, and he has adapted without undue objection. He likes his Friskies, both wet and dry, and his bedtime treats. I hate having to part with him, but I'm moving across the country and have committed to bringing only two of my four cats.
