My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sam was found in a park along with his littermates. We don't know an exact age but we are estimating his Birthday to be around March 7, 2024.
Sam is a very curious kitten that loves to play with other cats and thinking he may like to have a kitty friendly dog companion.
Sam is FIV/Leukemia negative and started on his kitten shots. He will be only up for adoption to a family that lives in the Louisville or Cincinnati areas. He needs to finish up with his shots and neuter (age appropriate) at one of our rescue approved vets.
Sam will be adopted out as an indoor non-declawed kitty.
Adoption donation fees for our cats is $50, that includes any vetting that still needs to be done.
If you are interested in meeting Sam, visit our website and submit a cat application.

More about this rescue

Bluegrass Doberman Rescue was formed to provide a needed service to the Doberman rescue community based in the state of Kentucky. Although the rescue itself was just formed in 2017, the volunteers behind it have over 10 years of experience in rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming Dobermans. We are committed to helping purebred Dobermans find their forever homes as well as educating the public about this often misunderstood breed. We understand that not everyone can own a Doberman but we are also here to provide support to those who do. We believe this rescue should be a cooperative effort between all volunteers and a collaborative effort between rescues to help this wonderful breed of dogs we all love.
