FRIENDLY, WELL-SOCIALIZED, LOVES OTHER DOGS! Roman is a handsome brindle 9mo male Dutch Shepherd mix who was rescued as a stray in Memphis. Great with other dogs, living comfortably with 2 other dogs in his foster home (see video) and would enjoy a dog buddy in his new home. Not cat tested. Great with kids and recommended for children 6 years and older. Medium energy level outside, quiet and well-mannered in the house. Crate trained and housebroken. Obeys basic commands. Loves to be with his people. Good on a leash, rides great in the car. Estimated DOB is 9-1-23. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, neutered, weighs about 45 pounds. This is an AWESOME young shepherd mix who will make a wonderful companion for an active family who loves the breed.

Good Dog Rescue is an all-breed rescue group headquartered in the South. Our group is comprised of volunteers all over the Southeast who love dogs and want to help those that end up homeless through no fault of their own. Loyal and loving dogs turn up every day in Southern shelters, as owners turn them in or they’re found roaming the streets after being dumped. To the best of our abilities, we evaluate all of our Good Dogs’ temperament and suitability for living with other dogs, cats, and children. A dog’s health is checked, and we make sure they are up-to-date on all shots and are spayed or neutered. Then, we place them in loving foster homes until they find their very own family. Our goal is to meet the needs of each dog as an individual and to assure proper placement in a loving forever home.
