HI - I'M CESAR! I'm a red-and-rust 6-year-old male Doberman Pinscher, in need of a foster or forever home! I was rescued from a crowded California shelter, where I was quite underweight, at 71 lbs. But I'm slowly but surely gaining weight now, and will likely be 82 to 85 lbs. when I am back to normal! Cesar, per his name , is quite magnificent in appearance. He is also gentle and affectionate.
Dobermans are often called "Velcro dogs" because they stick to their owners so closely and Cesar illustrates this idea. He wants to be around people and will be truly devoted when he has people to call his own. He is friendly with people and great with other dogs. Given his temperament, he would thrive in a home where his people work from home, or are retired and can spend a lot of quality time with him - because that's what he deserves. He would also benefit from a fenced yard or a person who is active. He still loves to run, and will make a wonderful hiking or jogging companion. Please email for an application.
