My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Freddie is a blind, 11 year old Japanese Chin that joined us at NARPS after his owner sadly passed away. He lost everything… his family, his home, and his job.

He takes his job being a sweetheart veryyy seriously. Freddie had spent more than a year living in a care home with senior and hospice residents. Even though he wasn’t a trained therapy dog, he still spent his time putting smiles on all of his friends faces!

Freddie does well with other dogs, we do believe he would be fine in a foster home with cats and kids.

Noah's Ark Rescue Project and Sanctuary (NARPS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization which is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need, as well as educating the public on important issues, and implementing low cost vaccination and sterilization clinics. Our goal is to address vital contributing factors which lead to the overpopulation of domesticated pets. Overbreeding and overpopulation directly affects the number of animals who find themselves in shelters and in need of rescuing. NARPS is currently operating mainly as a foster based program, with ambitions to eventually have a facility to house for our rescues. We are not a breed or species specific rescue, At NARPS, big & small, hooves & paws, we rescue them all!
