This warp speed wiggler is a total lover!

Irish is the sweetest of sweet, very cute with the biggest happy grin. She wants to see and go places in this big wonderful world, and is all excited to see it all at once! She needs some help with leash manners and not properly taught how to walk on a leash. Our team is working with her to perfect her leash skills and upgrade to a PhD in walking and we feel she would benefit from a fenced in yard. She will be the perfect trainer and will let you know if your slacking in your 10,000 steps and to pick up the pace-it's a big fun world out there and she's all in!

Irish CrAy CrAy for snuggles and scratches and is a very nice girl deserving of a home that will include her in their daily lives and tell her everyday how wonderful she is.

Irish is not in the main public section of the shelter, so be sure to ask for her by name if you come to visit her!

All adoptions must be done in person. Prospective adopters must meet the pet and complete the adoption application and questionnaire during the initial visit to our shelter at 2802 W Central Park Ave, Davenport, IA.

The Humane Society of Scott County (HSSC) has been an advocate for the humane care of all animals in Scott County, Iowa, since 1902.

An average of 500 pets arrive at the HSSC each month. About 80% come to us as strays and the rest are surrendered by owners who can no longer keep or care for their pets.

The HSSC is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization funded entirely by donations, adoption fees and a fee charged to the city and county for the care of the animals.
