Meet Dina!
This adorable white schnauzer is a precious gem we can’t believe someone let get away. A happy friendly social butterfly, she never met a stranger and gets so excited to make new friends. She loves walks, car rides, cuddling, and soft fuzzy beds and is a fun active little girl who also knows how to chill and watch tv. Quiet she is not: as with most schnauzers she makes her presence known and is a great conversationalist. She does an adorable little prairie dog begging pose for food and attention at times too, and we have caught her just randomly sitting up sometimes for no reason when she thinks we aren’t looking. We think she’s about 8 years old and just had bloodwork and a dental, was previously spayed, and is ready to go to a schnauzer-lover who appreciates her. She’s comfortable living with other dogs, but is mostly a people person.

Since COVID-19, we are no longer holding our Sunday adoption events until further notice, but we are scheduling meet and greet appointments with a specific dog or dogs at our meeting spots in Northern NJ. To streamline adoptions, all communication before, during, and after the adoption process is done through email only: we have limited volunteers able to return phone calls. Please check your email regularly for next steps. All our dogs reside in foster care in Northern NJ until adoption and we do not have a central shelter location. We are a small all-volunteer organization focused on rescuing local dogs from area shelters, as well as accepting some surrenders and puppy mill rescues.
