My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

5/14/24. Meet SCOOBY! This 103 lb gentle giant was a beloved family member for over 7 years when his owners had to move and their new HOA didn't allow him. SCOOBY is extremely friendly and loveable to everyone he meets, he loves children -used to play with 7 grandchildren of all ages and gets along with ALL dogs. He is such a good boy and doesn't understand how he ended up here. He howls like SCOOBY DOO inside his kennel and reall wants to go home . He will make a great addition to one lucky family. No cats for SCOOBY.

Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL. We welcome financial support for these dogs. Here are links to foster and adoption applications for those dogs who need a foster home or adoptive home.
