Meet Dioji the D-O-G! In this case, we think D-O-G stands for Dashing Outdoorsy Gentleman! Weighing in at an impressive 112 pounds, Dioji is a big, friendly pup with a heart of gold and a love for life. He greets everyone he meets with a wagging tail and a big smile and he lives for belly rubs and playtime. Dioji LOVES to be in the great outdoors, but sometimes he can't control his excitement! He would benefit from additional leash training to teach him good doggy manners. Dioji's enthusiasm for fetch knows no bounds, and he's always up for a game of tug-of-war. Dioji is a big scene-stealer, so we think he will do best as the only dog in the home so he can have the spotlight all to himself! Does Dioji sound like the one for you? Come in today and bring the whole family to meet Dioji to make sure it's a perfect match!
If you'd like to meet our available pets, please check the "shelter information" box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours! Both of our locations are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12-5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 12-7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information on our adoption process, including requirements and fees, visit: www.fairfaxcounty.gov/animalshelter/adopt
