* AGE: Vet estimate is about 3 years old.
* TEMPERAMENT: Can be nervous in new situations, but a gentle dog once he
warms up to you. would do well with people who have dog ownership
experience.
* Why are they at the shelter? Adopted from an open adoption facility that did
not consider the needs of both the dog and the home. The former home
surrendered Benny with animal control 2 years after adopting him because
they wanted to move.
* Any Health issues? None detected
* How are they with cats? While Benny appears to have hunting breed in
his mix, he may chase wildlife. He appears to be afraid of cats however. Other
dogs? Seems to have interest in meeting other dogs.
* Volunteer Comments? "friendly, but quiet." "a little shy at first but worth the
wait" "such a sweet soul"

NOW HOW DO I MEET OR ADOPT THIS DOG?
