My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chance is a sweet dog. He is part herding dog so has some of the traits as such. He gets along with other animals and is not overly excited and doesn’t jump. It is reported that he does nip like a herding dog on occasion, especially with smaller children, so may do best in a home with older children or someone willing to work on this with him. Chance is already neutered and ready to go home.

Additional adoption info

Animals have to be spayed or neutered prior to leaving the shelter. This is covered completely by the adoption fee if the adopter uses one of our local approved vets. If the adopter wants to have the spay/neuter done by a different vet, AWOL will pay a portion of the cost. All animals leaving prior to being spayed/neutered require a deposit that will be returned to the adopter after proof of spay/neuter.

More about this shelter
