This is Jake! He is a very sweet boy who is in need of a home. Jake’s mom was rescued in 2019, then a week later she had 7 puppies. All of Jake’s siblings found homes except for poor Jake. All he wants to do is cuddle and give all his love and affection to you. He’s very good with women, but has a hard time trusting men. Although Jake has always been around other dogs and cats, he would be thrive in a single dog household where he gets all the attention. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

My name is Michelle Johnson. I have been doing animal rescue (and disaster work with animals) for over 20 years. I have always loved animals, and when growing up I always had a dog. I know what joy it adds to your life to have a pet. I have a firm belief in God and that he gives each of us a special "Gift". I beleive mine is to be responsible for the pets, whose owners are not. I take this responsibility, very seriously. I am grateful to be able to help these dogs. and will continue to do so for as long as I can!! If there is Dog in Need, I will always do my best to help it.
