Bobby is a charming and curious pup.
While recently strolling with a volunteer friend, Bobby was showing off his excellent leash etiquette, with minimal pulling and a keen interest in his surroundings. Bobby loves to stop for a good sniff along the way.
Bobby is responsive to being called and will trot on over to his friends happily!
Bobby polite demeanor will warm your heart. He like to gently place his front paws on your lap to request affection - you won't be able to resist!
Eligible for rescue and adoption. Meet Bobby at ACCT Philly any day of the week from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Behavior notes:
5/14/24 volunteer notes: Bobby was easy to leash and exited his kennel calmly & under control. Brief encounter w/resident cat as we exited that resulted in Bobby stopping, showing some focus on the cat and minimal pulling. Nice walk. Did not pull much. Good amount of sniffing. We returned to the covered run and Bobby checked out lots of smells and areas on his own with little attention to me. When I called him, he trotted toward me with interest w/ No jumping or slamming.
When I sat on the bench, Bobby placed his front paws on my lap and sought pets rather politely. Overall, His every level was medium. Very impressed with Bobby. Returned to kennel with no issue and over the head leash removal. Good dog!

The Animal Care & Control Team of Philadelphia (ACCT Philly) is the region’s largest animal care and control service provider. ACCT Philly is an independent, 501c3 nonprofit organization, contracted by the City of Philadelphia to provide animal control services.
