Meet Chi Chi!

Chi Chi was entrusted to our care through the Final Wish Program after her owner passed away. She is 14 years old, weighs 10 lbs., and is very sweet.

A few days after becoming a Frosted Face, Chi Chi left on a two-week Frosted Fling. We look forward to learning more about this cutie while she enjoys extra TLC in the comforts of a home.

Chi Chi's Fling Mom reports:

"Chi Chi has been a sweet houseguest! Any family would be lucky to scoop this little lamb chop up!

- Sleeps thru the night, no accidents! Potties outside (gets restless when she needs to go).
- A good eater and takes her pills just fine hidden in some soft food chunks (we've been feeding her FreshPet chicken recipe).
- Pretty indifferent to other dogs so she'd be fine on her own. She barks and chases cats.
- Hasn't been able to use stairs but is catching on to the ramp for getting up on the couch. We carry her from our first floor to the second and back again, so she doesn't fall and hurt herself.
- Whines and barks when we leave but quickly settles after a few minutes. Did great in an x-pen while we were gone for a couple of hours.
- Will shadow you around the house for the first few weeks but then learn to find a quiet spot and a comfy dog bed as her confidence grows.
- She likes to snuggle next to you or spread out a foot away on the couch. In a chair she'll settle into your lap (happily), but given the choice, she enjoys some space.
- Once she gets to know you, she'll bestow the sweetest little Chi kisses.
- Loves walks and goes a fair distance, then needs the stroller or a sling or to be carried.

We require that interested applicants fill out our application. A screener follows up via email to schedule a home inspection, meanwhile calling references.

Upon approval, it is required you come to Frosted Faces Foundation with all members of the family and your dogs to choose a Frosted Face.
