Hey there, I'm Teddy!

I've been through some tough times, but I'm proof that love and resilience can conquer anything. Rescued from Chicago Animal Control, I won the hearts of my rescuers the moment they laid eyes on me. Despite the challenges I faced, my spirit remained unbroken, and my capacity for love knew no bounds.

When I first arrived, I was a bit worse for wear. My fur was matted and tangled, and my eyes were covered in dirt, making it hard for me to see. But even then, I sought comfort in human company. I found solace in their laps, craving the safety and reassurance they provided. From that moment on, they knew I was something special.

Thanks to the love and care of the wonderful folks at the vet, I got the TLC I desperately needed. A thorough check-up, a fresh shave, a soothing bath, and some pampering for my ears and eyes did wonders for me. Now, I look and feel like a whole new pup!

These days, I spend my time soaking up all the love and affection I can get. I'm a big fan of cuddles, kisses, and nuzzles, and I'm always up for a romp with my toys. I love to watch the world go by from my favorite spot by the window, taking it all in with wide-eyed wonder.

I'm ready to find my forever home, where I can share my boundless love and infectious happiness with someone special. If you're looking for a loyal companion who'll fill your days with love, laughter, and endless cuddles, then I'm your guy! Come meet me and let's start our journey together.

Oh, and just so you know, I've been neutered, microchipped, and had all my vaccines taken care of. My adoption fee is $325.00. If you're interested in meeting me, just fill out an adoption survey at carenorthshore.org/dog-adoption-survey.

Love & licks,

Teddy

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
