You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Hello everyone! My name is Shimmering Shay, and I am a young female pup, weighing about 11 pounds at 3.5 months, with a vibrant and sparkling personality to match my name. I am a sweet and gentle pup, who loves everyone and everything. I'm more on the submissive side, like my sister, Harper. I am not an alpha pup!. Despite my age, I am an intelligent and curious dog who is always eager to learn and explore the world around me. In terms of my personality, I am a loyal and affectionate companion who loves nothing more than cuddling up with my favorite humans and receiving belly rubs. I am also a very curious dog, and I love to sniff and explore new things! Could you be my new family? I can't wait to start the next chapter of my life with my new family and shower them with all the love I have to give! Shay is fostered in the Baltimore MD area.

We are a small group of rescuers who have done rescue with other groups for many years.. some of us have started other rescues. we found that some rescues do not use good adoption practices and felt a new rescue can help more dogs.
