Born April 14, 2023, Toby is a male Doodle/Aussie mix who is described as an absolute love bug! He enjoys playing ball, does great with other dogs and has lived with cats. Toby is potty trained using a doggie door. He is a very sweet boy and eager to please his people. As you can see, he’s got looks to go along with that personality! Toby will do best in an active home with at least one other canine buddy. His forever family will also need to commit to a lifetime of regular grooming. Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We require an adoption application to be filled out which includes personal references. An in-Home check by a Mikey's Chance volunteer is also performed prior to adoption. Our dogs come to the adopter "ready-to-go" with current Vet health checks, all shots and vaccinations current and the animal spayed or neutered, as well as micro-chipped.

Our adoption process can take 2-4 weeks to process as we are run completely by volunteers, all of whom work full time jobs.

We depend on a network of volunteers and fosters for the care of our dogs. The dogs are fostered primarily in Tri-Cities, WA. We often have Meet 7 Greet events at Petsmart and Paws Natural Pet Emporium LLC both in Kennewick.

"Mikey's Chance" is a dog rescue organization organized under Washington State articles of Incorporation as a Non-profit Charity. We focus mainly on saving dogs that are at risk or on “Death Row” in shelters in our area, and placing them to great families. We work with individual adopters, private rescuers, and rescue organizations that share our values. All our dogs are up to date on shots, sterilized, and microchipped prior to adoption, and they are all carefully evaluated to ensure the best possible match with adopters.
