Rescue Story
Tanny's journey hasn't been easy, but her resilience and gentle nature shine through brighter than ever. Rescued from a hoarding situation where she was one of 1,600 dogs, Tanny spent six long years in a shelter, waiting for her turn to find a loving home. But now, after spending just one month with a foster family, she's showing the world just how amazing she truly is.

About Him/Her
This sweet girl has quickly adapted to life outside the shelter walls. With a heart full of love and trust, Tanny has blossomed into the perfect companion. She's great with kids, other dogs, and even strangers. Her foster family describes her as a "perfect dog" — and it's easy to see why.
Tanny's walking manners are impeccable, and she doesn't have a prey instinct, making her a joy to take on walks. She's fully potty trained, confident, and quick to learn commands. Plus, she doesn't get car sick and doesn't suffer from separation anxiety. In short, she's incredibly easy to care for.
But Tanny isn't just a great pet; she's a healer too. Her foster family, who have opened their hearts and home to countless dogs, feel like she's saving them. With her calm and gentle demeanor, Tanny has brought a sense of peace and healing into their lives.
Every morning at 7 a.m., Tanny eagerly waits by the door, ready to start the day with her foster parents. And the cutest part? She does a little butt dance after she's finished pooping!
Tanny is the definition of a perfect dog — loving, gentle, and ready to bring joy into your life. If you're looking for a furry friend who will steal your heart, look no further than Tanny. Come meet her today and see for yourself why she's so special!

More about this rescue

About Eight Paws Dog Rescue
Eight Paws Dog Rescue is a registered Canadian Nonprofit organization that rescues dogs from South Korea and finds them forever homes in Canada. In South Korea, thousands of dogs struggle to survive in overcrowded shelters, and there is very little hope for adoption. But in Canada, these dogs can have an amazing life and a loving family. Eight Paws and its volunteers find, verify, coordinate, and assist the many humans necessary to save each dog–from shelter staff in Korea to Canadian adopters. The effort is great, but the reward is greater because dogs bring love and joy into our lives.
