Rescue Story
Ari is a charming and resilient pup with a heartwarming tale of triumph. This sweet soul was rescued from the harsh streets in February 2022, where she had to endure the hardships of being a stray dog and even faced the heartbreak of losing one of her precious puppies.
Ari's journey to a brighter future took a turn when she found herself in a high-kill shelter. Fortunately, our partner rescuer stepped in just in time to save both Ari and her son. While her son has found his forever home, Ari is still on the lookout for her perfect match.
About Him/Her
This delightful girl had a tough start, being diagnosed with second-stage heartworm. However, thanks to timely treatment and care, Ari has triumphed over this obstacle, and her recent heartworm test results are happily negative!
Ari's foster mom describes her as a sweet, affectionate companion. Despite her tough past, Ari has a calm and mellow demeanour. She's a young dog, but she leans towards the low-energy side, making her an excellent companion for those seeking a more relaxed pace.
Although Ari may be a bit timid and skittish at first, she warms up quickly and accepts gentle pets from strangers, including children. Her preference is for peace and harmony, as she enjoys the company of similar dogs who share her gentle and calm nature.
Ari is not one to rush through life; she walks at a slow and steady pace, making her the perfect partner for those who enjoy a leisurely stroll. Her love for sniffing around means you can savour your morning coffee while taking in the fresh air together.
Like many dogs who have experienced uncertainties in the past, Ari does have mild separation anxiety. We seek an adopter who can provide the patience and commitment needed to work on her crate training, helping her feel secure and content when alone.
If you're ready to open your heart and home to a loving, gentle soul, Ari is waiting for you. Together, you can create a future filled with love, laughter, and endless walks. Contact us today to meet Ari and start the journey to a forever friendship! 🐶💕

More about this rescue

About Eight Paws Dog Rescue
Eight Paws Dog Rescue is a registered Canadian Nonprofit organization that rescues dogs from South Korea and finds them forever homes in Canada. In South Korea, thousands of dogs struggle to survive in overcrowded shelters, and there is very little hope for adoption. But in Canada, these dogs can have an amazing life and a loving family. Eight Paws and its volunteers find, verify, coordinate, and assist the many humans necessary to save each dog–from shelter staff in Korea to Canadian adopters. The effort is great, but the reward is greater because dogs bring love and joy into our lives.
