Meet Oakley, the lively 5-month-old Shepherd mix bursting with energy and charm. With his striking patterning and big pointy ears, Oakley is a real head-turner. Oakley currently lives with kids aged 2 & 8 and does very well. He’s good with dogs, cats and is potty trained. He gets a little nervous in the kennel when left alone but does settle. He adores chasing after his ball and exploring new adventures, always eager to learn new tricks. Oakley's affectionate nature shines through as he eagerly seeks cuddles and pets, melting hearts wherever he goes.
Ready to add a dash of joy to your life, Oakley is the perfect companion for endless laughter and love.

Oakley came from a situation of severe neglect where he was kept in a kennel 24/7 for days at a time.

Submit Application

Approve Application

After a telephone conversation and character reference checks you may meet the animal at its foster home or an agreed upon location.

3.
Meet the Pet

For cats, you may be pre-approved to adopt at the first meeting. For dogs, we require a first meeting before an adoption can be finalized.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Adoption Agreements are sent out by email for electronic signature. It is very convenient!

5.
Pay Fee

Fee payments can be made by e-transfer or by cash or cheque at the time of adoption.

6.
Take the Pet Home

There is a two-week trial adoption period in which a full refund of the adoption fee is offered if it is not a good match.
