My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LOCATION: Greeneville, Tennessee
DOB: 03/17/2022 (Estimate)

Hi! I’m still with my owner right now. I’m looking for a foster (fosters get first option to adopt!). This way the team can get to know me better and get an all clear from the vet. Read my bio below!

Daisy is a beautiful female Great Dane. This sweet girl find herself in search of a new home due to unforeseen health issues and life changes affecting their owners. She is a gentle soul who thrives on love and companionship. While she may need some time to warm up to new dogs, once she has, she proves to be an excellent companions, fostering friendships once the ice is broken. Their interactions with the family cat are equally harmonious. She doesn’t bother it at all.

When it comes to young children she exhibits a natural caution, preferring to steer clear rather than interact. Because of her size and lack of self-awareness, older children would be better suited for this gal.

Daisy is well-trained in the basics, including housebreaking, leash manners, and crate training. However, she does have her quirks—namely, a penchant for jumping on people and a fondness for chewing on wood, much to the dismay of porch poles everywhere. She will also growl and scratch on doors. But with a little patience and guidance, these habits can be easily redirected.

In terms of temperament, Daisy exudes confidence and charisma, often taking charge in new situations with her bold demeanor. While her initial bark may sound tough, it's merely a front for her playful nature, which shines through once she feels safe and secure.

With her gentle spirit and loving personality this remarkable beauty is sure to bring joy and laughter to any household lucky enough to foster her!

Go meet their pets

Our rescues are scattered all over the United States in many different states. Scheduling a meeting would not be a problem. We hold many events throughout the year. You can find the latest news on our facebook page or website.

More about this rescue

To rescue Great Danes from neglect, abuse, and abandonment while providing medical care and individual rehabilitation through our experienced and loving foster home program until we are able to provide each rescued Dane with a qualified, caring, and permanent home that will ensure a good quality of life they deserve.

To assist owners that cannot afford spaying, neutering or heartworm treatment as funds allow while also educating owners on affordable, local spay/neuter clinics, spay/neuter benefits, vaccinations, backyard breeding, behavior, nutrition, and obedience. Additionally, we want to be a link point to other rescues and clubs. Raising awareness around rescues and the Great Dane breed is of great importance to us.

We have been rescuing Great Danes since 2011 and we take pride in the collective love, concern, and dedication we have given to the misunderstood and forgotten Danes. It is our mission to continue to be the voices of the less fortunate Danes and to provide them safety and their birthright to a quality of life filled with love and dignity. You can help us achieve our mission by donating funds, items from our wishlist, items of relevance, your time through volunteering, or by lending your home as a foster.
