Bark Wahlberg aka Crusher's DOB is 11/25/2019. He is a brown and white Redbone Coonhound/Cattle Dog. Crusher is a really handsome dog who was adopted as a cute little puppy back in 2019, but was returned recently for some bad habits that he picked up in his previous home. He's definitely a lot bigger than he was the last time he was here, and we suspect that his previous home was not able to provide the firm guidance and training necessary to help Crusher be the amazing pet we know he can be. From what we can tell at the Haven, Crusher would make an extremely loyal pet, but he takes quite a while and some coaxing to get used to new people. If you pet him before he really gets to know you, he gets pretty scared and has even snapped (albeit with soft warning bites and a big scary bark) at people who move too quickly with him. Luckily, Crusher's issues are totally fixable with a human who can be a strong leader in his life, and we know that for an experienced owner, he'll be an absolute breeze! DOB 11-25-19

Adoption fees are as follows:
Puppies under the age of 6 months - $150
Dogs weighing 30lbs and less - $200
Dogs aged 6 months and up- $90
Cats under 6 months of age - $75
Cats over 6 months of age - $65
Special rates may apply for special needs or dedicated pairs.
All animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. Cats are tested for FeLV. Declawing is not allowed on Haven adoptees.

We are a no-kill sanctuary for stray and abandoned dogs and cats, and for those left homeless by the death of their guardian. We provide an environment as homelike as possible with lots of loving care to our furry residents. It may take days or years, but we will always keep trying for all of the animals in our care.
