Dazee is an 8 lb sweetheart, maybe a little Chihuahua, but a lot miniature Fox Terrier. She's a great lap dog, but she's under a year old, and wants to play with abandon at times! If she found a home with a play buddy, that would be fabulous, and walks and play are necessary. She's probably not a good fit for a less active person, because she is a busy little girl that needs a good bit of interaction. She's not really comfortable around larger dogs at first, but if they give her space, she may warm up to them. Dazee is very fearful of crates, and becomes quite anxious when placed in one. In her foster home, she has done well being left loose in the house, with the other dogs. She is quite cat curious, and very much wants to play with them! When the days wind down, and playtime is over, Dazee loves to snuggle on the couch with her person, whom she gets quite attached to.
Dazee is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all immunizations. She is currently fostered in Madison AL.
If interested in adopting this sweet little girl, please submit a non-binding application at forrescue.net/dog-application.

More about this rescue
Friends of Rescue is a certified 501(c)(3) organization formed in 2009, consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter animals that are in danger of euthanasia. Southern shelters have a constant overflow of dogs and cats, little funding, and limited space. Once the animals arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable animals and find loving individuals/families who will provide committed, FORever homes. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these animals from euthanasia. Each animal in our program is in a foster home and receives all age-appropriate vetting while in our care.
